Productivity, women in business, inspiration, time management, Squamish, Whistler, VancouverProductivity tips to get you back on track

Managing time effectively is a tricky trait as an entrepreneur. Managing an even balance between business, family and leisure is an even greater challenge. In The Business Sanctuary our clients often seek insights as to how to re-calibrate priorities and better hone their focus for faster results. We often share the CROMPS productivity concept. It will get you in the right mindset and manage your back-log:

  1. Compromise – Eliminate everything that sucks time. Handle emails twice per day and social media once at the end of the day.
  2. Realize – Assess your current productivity level with this short test created by Mindtools.com.
  3. Organize – Manage your week using a calendar and planner, declutter your workspace, write out all to-do’s and decide on and stick to a filing method.
  4. Minimize – Safe-guard yourself from unwanted interruptions. Close the door, switch off your cell phone, re-direct your phone to a 24/7 call centre, unsubscribe from unwanted mail.
  5. Prioritize – List your to-do’s and tackle the tasks that are high importance and high impact first. Delegate what you don’t want and can’t do easily.
  6. Systemize – Create processes wherever possible. Visit Google Apps Marketplace for pre-rated technology tools that will help manage your time, tasks and files.
Make sure you manage your mindset, your motivation and self discipline alongside the CROMPS productivity tips and enjoy the feeling of accomplishment as you gain back control over the goals you have set to achieve.
